House rules & terms
We rent out our cabin with love. These agreements keep it pleasant for everyone, including the forest.
- Out of respect for nature: quiet between 22:00 and 08:00.
- The main booker is at least 21 years old.
- No smoking indoors.
- No fireworks.
- No parties or events.
- The cabin is not suitable for youth groups, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory.
- Maximum 6 guests, of whom at most 4 adults.
With a dog
- One dog is welcome, please mention it in your request.
- Coming back from the woods? Rinse the dog off before going inside. There is a tap with a hose outside.
- Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms, nor on beds or sofas.
- Please treat the furnishings with care. Damage caused by your dog will be charged.
- Don't leave your dog alone in the cabin.
- Clean up after your dog in the garden.
Damage and faults
- We do not ask for a deposit. We trust you to treat the cabin as you would your own home.
- Report damage, a fault or a breakdown as soon as you can, even if it seems small or was not your doing. Reporting it costs you nothing.
- Damage you report we sort out together. Small mishaps happen and we normally do not charge for them. If the damage was caused by you or your party, we may still recover the cost, even when you reported it properly.
- Damage or a fault you did not report and that we find after you leave may be charged to you. The same applies to consequential damage because a fault was not reported in time.
- We then charge the actual cost of repair or replacement, supported by an invoice or quote.
- If the cabin is left needing more than the usual cleaning, we charge the extra hours.
- Missing or damaged inventory is replaced at cost price.
Safety and liability
- You use the hot tub, the wood stove, the fire pit and the axe at your own risk. Read the guides on the Guides page beforehand and follow the notices in the cabin.
- Children may only be near the hot tub, the fire and the stove under the direct supervision of an adult. The hot tub has no child-proof cover; never leave a child there alone.
- Do not enter the hot tub after alcohol or drugs. Talk to your doctor first if you are pregnant, or have a heart or circulatory condition, low or high blood pressure, or any other illness.
- Light the wood stove and the fire pit only as described, never leave a fire unattended, and put it out completely before you sleep or leave.
- We are not liable for damage or injury that arises because these instructions were not followed or because a facility was used improperly.
- Nor are we liable for the loss, theft or damage of your own belongings, or for the consequences of circumstances beyond our control, such as a power or water failure, a storm or a blocked road.
- These limits do not apply in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, nor in so far as the law imposes liability. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury attributable to us; under Dutch consumer law that is not possible either.
- Report a fault or an unsafe situation to us straight away so we can put it right. See also Damage and faults above.
- We advise you to take out travel and liability insurance covering your stay.
Booking and payment
- A request is only final after our confirmation and payment of the invoice.
- When booking you pay for the stay and the final cleaning.
- Payment is made via a secure payment link.
- We keep to the cancellation terms above. We therefore advise taking out travel or cancellation insurance, so you are covered if something unexpected happens.
